Element Samurai

This is a vertical slice (one level) of my school's 3rd year solo project. Developped from 09/2020 to 06/2022. 

Pitch

In Element Samurai, you play a samurai purchassing an outlaw through the Yokai Mountain.  His blade can absorb the element of the last enemy it touched, allowing you to switch between different abilities.

• Fire element : shoot fireball that burn wood and light torches
• Wind element : gain an extra wind jump and projects an airstream
• More to come in later versions !

Main inspirations for the project are Celeste (pixel art style, platforming), Kirby (stealing the enemies abilities, straightforward level design) and Genshin Impact (elements and environnement interactions).

Controls (Keyboard / Gamepad)

• Run : Keyboard arrows / Left stick
• Jump / Wall jump : Spacebar / Bottom pad button
• Contact attack : S / Right pad button
• Element attack : D /  Left pad button
